Lord Malloch-Brown will travel to Mozambique, South Africa and Angola from 9-16 June. During his visit to Mozambique he delivered a speech at an event organised by Chatham House and the Mozambique Institute for International Relations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Entitled Africa, weathering the storm and charting recovery, he argued that economically, politically, socially and culturally, the international community must get behind Africa's innovative regional initiatives and fledgling regional institutions to ensure that African countries will not only strengthen their own political economies but engage stronger globally.
