The Chevening Scholarship Scheme provides full funding for Mozambicans from various walks of life and professions to undertake one year of postgraduate study in the UK. Chevening Scholars return to Mozambique after their studies with greater knowledge and skills to contribute to the socio-economic development of Mozambique.

Chevening Scholarships are offered by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and administered by the British Council, in collaboration with the British High Commission, Maputo. These are fully funded scholarships covering academic fees, living costs, travel and other allowances.

Requirements:

• Mozambican citizenship
• An excellent command of written and spoken English
• A degree and an outstanding record of achievement in your chosen area of study
• Leadership potential and a minimum of three years’ relevant post-graduate work experience.
• Dynamic and motivated in your current field with the potential to apply your studies on return to Mozambique
